Building the Technology Foundation
To meet the demands of this fast-paced construction project, our team delivered a comprehensive low-voltage, security, and network cabling solution. From the beginning, we focused on coordination, quality, and long-term reliability to ensure the infrastructure would support both current student needs and future campus growth.
From cabling to connectivity, our team delivered the full telecommunications and low-voltage installation for both residence halls, supported by a high-performance fiber-optic backbone. Key components of the solution included:
- Category 6 horizontal cabling for tele-data, IPTV, and CCTV systems
- Category 6A horizontal cabling for wireless access point networks
- Fiber-Optic cabling supporting the building’s vertical backbone
In addition to the cabling infrastructure, ensuring the buildings were fully functional required the installation and integration of several key network and security elements:
- 75–80 Hanwha security cameras for comprehensive CCTV coverage
- Wireless access points throughout the buildings
- Network racks throughout the project
Through careful planning and close coordination among contractors, we delivered an organized, reliable infrastructure that will support the buildings for years to come.
Reliable Outcomes
The project was completed on time, despite the fast-paced construction schedule and the complexity of having two residence halls built simultaneously. Close coordination with other contractors onsite allowed work to progress efficiently without delays or conflicts.
The completed buildings now provide students and university staff with modern, up-to-date telecommunications and security systems, providing a significant upgrade compared to older residence halls on campus. The new infrastructure supports reliable wireless connectivity, strong network performance, and comprehensive security coverage throughout both facilities.
